Cosmetology Management Careers


Graduates of this program will be prepared for careers as a Cosmetology Manager. Graduates will have skills in hair care, cutting, styling, wigs, hair additions, chemical texturizing, coloring, and nail and skin services. Graduates will also learn about developing professional relationships, understand the administrative code of the Ohio State Board of Cosmetology and have knowledge in salon operations, rules and regulations, develop a business plan including a marketing plan for an independent contractor or a spa, and perform office management functions such as bookkeeping tasks and managing the front desk of a salon.

Graduates will be prepared to sit for the Ohio State Board of Cosmetology Exam and upon successful completion of the exam, will become licensed as a Managing Cosmetologist.
