This curriculum is designed to meet the needs of the expanding accounting field. Graduates of this program will be prepared for careers as any of the following: accounting clerks; accounts receivable clerks; accounts payable clerks; accounting coordinators; payroll clerks; bookkeepers; tax accountants; or a variety of other related positions.

Automotive Technician  (Troy)

Demonstrate competency in diagnosing and repairing systems including: brakes, manual drive, automatic transmission, steering & suspension, heating & air conditioning, ignition system, fuel system, exhaust system and engines. We offer an Automotive Technology Diploma and an Automotive Technology Degree.

Business Office Management (Columbus, Dayton, Springboro, Troy)

Because careers in the business office setting are dynamic, the Business Office Management degree adapts to meet the changing needs of the marketplace. The Business Office Management Degree is tailored for medical settings.

Computer Support Specialist  (Dayton, Springboro)

Computer Support Specialist degrees from Miami-Jacobs Career College are outstanding at meeting market demands for highly trained professionals. Our region is a national leader in IT employment – and students trained at Miami-Jacobs enter the workforce with the most up-to-date training available.

Cosmetology  (Springboro, Troy)

Graduates of this program will be prepared for careers as a Cosmetologist. Graduates will have skills in hair care, cutting, styling, wigs, hair additions, chemical texturizing, coloring, and nail and skin services. Graduates will also learn about developing professional relationships and understand the administrative code of the Ohio State Board of Cosmetology.

This Associate Degree Program prepares individuals as verbatim Court Reporters and provides students with the knowledge and skills required to work in Freelance offices and Official Court proceedings. Graduates may pursue career opportunities in the courts as official reporters, at freelance court reporting firms, or work as independent, self-employed court reporters.

Criminal Justice  (Columbus, Dayton, Sharonville, Springboro, Troy)

Miami-Jacobs Career College offers an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice that will prepare students for outstanding careers in public safety, crime prevention, corrections, the court system, and private security. The demand for qualified leaders in law enforcement and criminal justice continues to grow. Dental Assisting  (Columbus, Sharonville, Springboro)

The Dental Assisting Program prepares graduates to perform a variety of duties including patient care, office procedures, and laboratory practices. The focus of the program will be on didactic, pre-clinical and clinical applications of dental assisting. Graduates will be prepared to work as dental assistants in private practices, group practices, and specialty practices.

Esthetics / Skin Care  (Springboro, Troy)

Graduates of this program will be prepared for careers as an Esthetician. Graduates will have the skills to perform basic and advanced face and body treatments, facials, hair removal, make-up design, and relaxation massage.  Graduates will also learn about developing professional relationships and understand administrative codes.

Graphic Design  (Sharonville)

The Graphic Design curriculum is designed to meet the needs of the demand for graphic designers as advertising firms increase products and services. This program offers practical instruction to establish a foundation for career advancement and professional growth in a variety of advertising environments.

Health Information Technology  (Columbus, Dayton, Sharonville, Springboro, Troy)

As the number of medical practices grows, so does the need for quality Health Information Technologists. This dynamic program prepares one for a career in Health Information Technology. Graduates could work in roles, such as: Medical Records Clerk; Health Information Technologists; Medical Coder; Insurance and Billing Specialists; Collections; Transcriptionist; or Medical Records Technician.

Practical Nursing  (Dayton, Springboro, Troy)

The Practical Nursing Diploma is designed to prepare individuals for careers as a Licensed Practical Nurse. The focus of the program will be patient care, customer service, critical thinking, assuming accountability and responsibility patient care and wellness.
